Our new Deep Well volunteer coordinator, Julie Jilly, has worked hard to expand the activities at Coligny Plaza. There is a high level of enthusiasm among volunteers and donors alike
15th ANNIVERSARY
Dove Street is celebrating their milestone with a beautiful red banner created by Ben Ham as well as radio interviews on WAVE 104.9 and THE DRIVE 103.1.
COUNTING ON TRAFFIC
The town of Hilton Head Island re-installed a traffic counter for two weeks so we could find out how many cars came down the street. This year the count will surely please us!
CREATURE FEATURES
Happy penguins at both ends of Dove Street along with a skiing bear atop the Mount Dove Ski Area have added to the delight of visitors.
SANTAS APLENTY
Santa Claus made several appearances on Dove St. this year with disco mini Santa, Ms. Claus, and various elves handing out candy canes and causing jollity on the street.
BUSES ABOUND
Many assisted living facilities are bringing residents down to see the lights. We enjoy boarding the buses and reading the poem to them. The Santas assist in the festivities by handing out candy canes and good cheer.
